What we were up against
The website had no proper internal linking structure, with product and collection pages largely isolated from each other and poor navigation paths. This made it difficult for search engines to crawl the website effectively and distribute authority across important pages. Product and collection pages were also not properly optimized. Meta titles, meta descriptions, and H1 tags were either missing or duplicated, while images lacked proper alt text and compression, which affected both SEO and page performance. The website was receiving little to no non-branded organic traffic and was primarily ranking for its own brand name. As a result, it was missing opportunities to reach potential customers searching for generic terms such as “wedding dresses Pakistan” or “luxury pret wear online.” There was also no content SEO strategy in place. The website had no blogs, guides, or informational pages to target long-tail keywords, answer customer queries, and build topical authority within the industry. In addition, the website did not have a clear target keyword strategy. Keywords were not properly mapped to collection pages, product categories, or supporting content, making it difficult to strategically target relevant search terms and improve rankings. Finally, the physical outlets had unverified Google My Business profiles. Without verified profiles on Google Maps, the business was missing valuable opportunities to appear in local search results, attract nearby customers, and drive visits to its physical stores.
Our strategic approach
A strong internal linking framework was implemented by building contextual links between products, collections, and blogs to improve crawl depth and distribute page authority across important pages. All product and collection pages were optimized with keyword-rich meta tags, a structured H1-H3 hierarchy, and descriptive copy, while images were compressed, renamed, and optimized with keyword-focused alt text to improve page speed and image search visibility. Comprehensive keyword research and mapping were also conducted to identify high-volume, low-competition non-branded keywords relevant to luxury pret, bridal wear, and seasonal collections, with product and collection pages aligned to relevant primary transactional keywords. A content marketing strategy was introduced through blogs covering seasonal style guides, bridal fashion trends, and fabric care tips, along with evergreen content targeting “how-to” queries and informational searches to build topical authority. For local SEO, Google My Business profiles were claimed and verified for all retail outlets, with accurate NAP (Name, Address, Phone) information, opening hours, and photos added to improve local search visibility and drive more customers to physical stores.
